Using washable cloth diapers

is comfortable, hygienic and economic.

Environmentally friendly

Washable cloth diapers are less polluting because they produce almost no waste

More

Healthy

Cloth diapers are soft and comfortable to the touch. They let the child feel the moisture right away, which enables easier potty training.

More

Easy to use

If you are going out, just take the diaper wash bag with you and store the wet diaper into it. There is no more need to search for trash cans or special diaper cans, which is not the case if you use standard plastic diapers.

More

Economic

On average, a child needs about 6 diapers per day. Many newborns need twice as many diapers – an average of at least 8 to 10 per day, while larger children need an average of 4 diapers per day. This means that if you use 6 non-washable classic diapers per day, 180 diapers will be used every month!

More

ECOLOGICAL

Disposable diapers represent around 2-3% of all household waste, while in the mixed waste, they represent up to 40%.

  • Children require approximately 5,000 disposable diapers, which is 2 tons of waste in average. These diapers take between 200 and 500 years to decompose. Some diapers end up in waste incinerators and poisons are released into the atmosphere.
  • Every year, about one billion trees are wasted worldwide, all to produce wood pulp from which disposable diapers are made. For artificial materials for disposable diapers (outer sealing layer, absorbent gel), they consume large amounts of oil, water and energy.
Washable cloth diapers, on the other hand, can be used for two consecutive children and are made from natural materials (hemp, bamboo, organic cotton). At the end of their use, they can easily be used for other purposes (cleaning wipes).

HEALTHY

Cloth diapers are made from vapor permeable and soft materials. You can immediately see if they are wet or not. Therefore, we tend to change diapers more often, which is much better for the child’s health. Another big advantage for the child is the circulation of air: the skin under the diaper is less heated compared to disposable diapers, so the skin is less likely to be irritated by moisture.

Disposable diapers
contain chemical cocktails, including dioxin, sodium polyacrylate, phthalates, perfumes and bleach. The harmfulness of each of these substances has been repeatedly demonstrated.
Cloth diapers help the child to recognize the connection between "wet" and "being wet" at a very early stage - children who wear cloth diapers, according to experience, can be potty trained (stop using a diaper) much earlier. Women know very well what we mean, since they use their hygienic pads every month, so imagine your child using diapers every day for two years and more.

The skin of newborn babies is very sensitive, quickly permitting the chemicals to enter. A child’s skin is much more susceptible to external stimuli. Treat your baby the best way possible and use OOPS cloth diapers made from natural materials.

EASY TO USE

  • After changing a diaper, put the dirty diaper into a special bucket for diapers.
  • Wash the diapers every 2-3 days in the washing machine at 40-60 °C. This will take up to 5 minutes.
  • When the diapers are washed, it will take another 5 minutes to hang them (or even less, if you dry them in a dryer).
  • If you wash them 2 to 3 times a week, you will need about 15 minutes to do so, so do not be afraid that you will spend a lot of time.

Like all other obligations of parenthood, it is easy to get the hang of it and it will soon become part of your daily and weekly routine. Washing diapers does not burden you more than washing other clothes.

Let your washing machine do the work when you choose to use more healthy, environmentally friendly and economic diapers.

ECONOMIC

On average, children need diapers until they are two-and-a-half years old. During this period, parents spend a lot of money (on average between EUR 1,000 and 1,500) for disposable diapers.

You can save money by using cloth diapers.

On average, you need 20 to 30 cloth diapers, depending on whether you wash them every two or three days.

Oops Cloth Diapers are adjustable in size and can be used for babies weighting from 3 to 15 kg or more (depending on the child's body shape) until your child learns to use the potty. Oops Cloth Diapers are also useful for children who need a diaper only at night.

If the child uses diapers for more than two-and-a-half years, the monthly costs of using washable cloth diapers is even lower. If you take proper care of your diapers, you can use them for 2 children or more, which consequently cuts the cost of the purchase in half.
Treat yourself and your family better and do not spend money on diapers that you can use only once.

With cloth diapers, you can save up to EUR 1,000 EUR per child.
